About 5 months ago my band Bury the Silence lost our drummer. In a Death Metal band searching for a drummer is often times the hardest search of all. The amount of skill it takes to be a good death metal drummer is unbelievable. On top of skill we had to find someone that really fits in the group of friends that is BTS. We were lucky enough to recruit one of our good friends Brett Barrett. Brett has been improving by leaps and bounds to get us back on track for our return. We are nearly there with just over 2 weeks until our first show back.
We have been pushing to make our return to the stage impressive, freshly signed to Rouge Records America, about to release an album, in the middle of working on a music video, and we are working to get a whole new set of merchandise. Which is what ties all of this into my blog as a graphic designer. One of the new things we are adding to our merch is stickers, which I designed and helped print.
So here is an example of some of my work.

This is just my first Blog. So here we go.
I started my internship at GH imaging about 6 weeks ago. I started out in the printing department, learning how to rip files for print, loading the substrate onto the printer, and then finally learning how to use the printer. It gets a little nerve racking when you learn that the printer you are learning how to use, and learning how to not mess up is worth somewhere around $750,000.
I am now in the design department and have been for a few weeks. I have been working on a new site for a company GH bought called United Sign. Not designing anything for it unfortunately, just transferring products from the old site to the new one.
I have done a little design work in my few weeks in the design department. At the moment I am working on a T-shirt design for a spring motorcycle run, the 3rd annual Jack Morse Memorial Run, obviously in memory of Jack Morse(whomever that is). I also designed a landing page for the Facebook page of a company called Tourist Printing. Below is a link to their Facebook so you can see the designs I made for them.
